I see, havent use windows in a while and yes i noticed that they have now pre install. I remembered before you have to download microsoft security essential or some free anti virus. Ty.

I also discovered i can use screen time for my kids and limit the sites/apps/games.

I guess im missing a lot of windows new features since i switched to osx
Yeah the windows one has come a long way since the early days and it's all baked in now so no need to download anything else.

I just ordered tonight an Open Box unit in 'Satisfactory Condition' tonight for $762 plus tax. The only Open Box available within a 250 miles radius of Washington, DC, otherwise the new price is $900. The jury is still out until I can pick it up. Anyway, thanks to this HP provided parts locator (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06665346) it appears the speakers are upward firing, located between the keyboard and the display! This has to help the sound vs. firing downward like most 15.6 laptops.

Update: the HP Pavilion 15.6 also has upward firing speakers.
