I am hoping they match this, as I just bought this exact processor on Amazon last week and am hoping they lower their price so I can ask them to refund some.
Amazon dont price match once you receive the item. You'll have to return and purchase another.

Why do I see the 1700x at higher prices? Isn't this one better?
Not even close. The 3700x is notably better than a 1700x in every way. I imagine those old stock 1700x are at a speculative price

Would love to buy the game at a discount from anyone who isn't interested!
Not sure about these specific codes, but I've run into situations where codes that come with GPUs only activate if the specific GPU is installed.

I'm at work so don't have time to check. Will this work with B450?
long as your mb manufacter support it by a bios upgrade. Check your vendor they may not.

I am trying to get a Ryzen 3600 and pair it with 450 Tomahawk, however, 450 Tomahawk is out of order everywhere.

what's other budget board that i can use around similar price range? to go with a AMD 5600XT

Or i can spend extra money.

if i get this AMD Ryzen 3700X, what's the board i can use right now that is not out of stock? and relative good price? try to pair it up with a 5700XT.

I actually took advantage of that today with Death Stranding, I bought a 3800x a few months back and its one of the supported CPUs

I bought 3700x Super 2 weeks ago. How do you receive the coupon code for redeeming Death Stranding for your previous purchases of 3800x a few months back ?

Any reason to go with this over the 3600 if I'm just gaming?

The 3700X has more processing power for any game that can use the threads. You will probably be safe with the 3600.

Speculation comes in with the launch of the PS5 and XBoxXSeriesXboxXXX coming out later this year, both of which have 4 core/8 thread processors. That will likely become the standard, over the next couple/few years, that AAA games target for performance.

If you think you're going to keep your setup for the next few years, go with the 3700. If you like to upgrade, stick with the 3600 and put the money towards future architecture.

My 2c. (I'm going 3700)

Agreed. If you need a GPU upgrade at the same time, you can save some money on 3600 v 3700x and put it towards a new GPU.
