The stamped acrylic window and the external 5.25" bays make this look very dated... or is this look coming back?

I was thinking the same thing... Brings the 2000's back to memory w/ all the cheesy cliche PC gamer vibes that came with it

There's nothing more cheesy cliche gaming than today's gigantic cases that instead of drive bays have multiple glow in the dark rainbow fans.

You can add one of these for $7 to make use of one of the 5.25 bays. You can fit 4x 2.5" drives or 2x 2.5" and 1x 3.5". I use a couple of these in my server build to fit my SSD drives.

I want my all aluminum cases back. i want 80mm fans that require replacing every 18-24 months. When was the last time someone killed a 120mm????

I have been using this case (in gray) for about a year. Don't expect the same level of quality as the Define series from Fractal -- these are budget cases, more or less. It's not bad quality, but it feels flimsy and is certainly worth less than $50. I had no major issues installing my system, but sound attenuation is poor, which isn't surprising considering all the grills and fan mounts.

I was intending to install an optical drive simply for the random CDs that crop up occasionally from my daughter's school or athletic events (competition photos). But, I have a portable drive for my laptop, and for the very rare occasions that I've needed a drive, that's been acceptable. I've been waiting on a great sale on the Define C, but I haven't seen a sale come up at the same point when I'm willing to spend the money for a frivolous purpose!

hhhmm...need a case for capacity for at least 4x 3.5" disk drives and a SSD drive.
Personally I'm looking for a full tower case that has tons of space for drives.

You might be able to make this one work by also utilizing it's 5.25" bays, especially if your SSD is an m.2 NVMe that goes in your motherboard and not a 2.5" SATA.

Lol, I used to have these Antec cases that were huge full tower cases, but used 80mm fans. Why would they make a big case that took such small fans?

Back then they didnt have 120mm fans with the 80mm side profile. The 120mm dc back then were thicc. I still have a few, they were 150-200% thicker than a 80mm. But hey back then we had those 80mm vantec tornado's that would fly off the table if they were not bolted down Smilie
