been looking 4 a cheap-o 128GB microsd card...yes yes samsung n sandisk are not that much more expensive but anyway saw this on Newegg:

Team 128GB microSDXC UHS-I/U1 Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter [newegg.com]

$13 seems like a new low for 128GB...unless u take ur chance on ebay. Team seems to be Newegg's house brand but dats not saying much for its longevity

2nd or 3rd tier memory card maker; depending on how u count laugh out loud they are sold primarily thro' Newegg

if u search for "Team microsd" on SD, u will see frequent posts about their cards. $13 for 128GB is the lowest ive seen though Smilie

I am surprised this hasn't gotten more attention. Also, you can get them for $12 each if you need two (combo deal [newegg.com]).

The combo deals on the 32GB and 64GB capacities are at their recent lows as well, it seems.

Probably fine, personally I've had a very large card go bad in the switch , and it was a hassle to restore due to my setup. The saves are always on internal memory. I went with SanDisk since I needed to prioritize not having the card fail on me again. These 2nd and 3rd tier brand cards are probably best suited for devices where data isn't critical or it can be restored easily and they won't be written to constantly.

Wonder if that'd be ok for a dashcam. One of mine maxes at 64 gb and I already had a SanDisk fail once in it.

You may want to consider an Endurance model made for constant writes/rewrites

My guess is because these seem to be a crapshoot according to the percentage of 1 egg reviews. Poor speed when they work as well. I would not trust my data with it. $13 is a lot to throw away when better cards are plentiful at reasonable prices (such as the recent Costco Deal).
I know there are counterpoints, but that's just like, my opinion man.

For 14.99 (on sale) I picked up a team elite 128g card. I have still yet to use it but it's supposed to have better write/ read stats than their other cards. According to their website it's supposed to handle hot weather better as well. They also make a "dash cam" model card to withstand high heat, but the write rates are slightly below the elite card.

I just purchased Team 64GB Elite for my 1080p dashcam(support up to 64GB).
Never used this brand before, but purchased because of the lifetime warranty.
Let's see how good it is.

Wonder how this one compares with the Brand Verbatim 128 GB class 10 U 1 that I bought last week for like $12.99 open buy at my local Micro Center Store? I also noticed micro center sells pretty cheap generic house brand type SD cards too. While there I picked up a 32 GB one for $3.99 and plan to give it to my son to expand his storage.

I believe these are the Free ones that they used to give away a while back? You can also get a free 32 GB sd card if you apply for a credit card application but who wants a hard pull and ding on credit.

I also got a great deal on a PNY 256 GB SD card for like $17 or $19 on clearance at Walmart it seems to not have failed me yet and I've been using it for a few months now. My 64gb LG V30 was getting sluggish with too many pictures and videos plus other files, downloads, etc.

I guess the only thing is the PNY Elite is not rated for 4K videos but that doesn't bother me as I take more pics and do other things more VS 4K videos. Definitely gonna buy one here tho for my back up LG V20 phone. The other 128 gb SD card is in my LG tablet.
