Remember to buy a heat sink, if going after this deal.

I ended up getting this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073RH5...UTF8&psc=1 for my 1TB SN750. Looks great and IMO better than the stock WD heatsink edition.

While I agree with the article, the WD drive gets no where as hot as the Samsung drive in the article. My bare SN750 was idling at 38C and max 65C on gaming loads. Only during benchmarking did my drive get to a max of 71C after about 20 minutes of nonstop R/W. With the heatsink I'm at a locked 50C during gaming and idle. Benchmarking will take it to 60C max.

P.S. For anyone interested, I got mine for $16.99 but it looks like it's around $25 now. You can probably wait for a price drop or get a different color. I don't like the clip based mounting mechanism so you swap out SSDs often I would look for a screw or slide locking one.

Any recommendations on a good, inexpensive heatsink? I bough this drive last time it was on sale and really enjoying it! I was able to clone my C drive over no problem.

Doesn't stack with 15% discount. This is what happens when you try: $100.29

Is there some sort of extra coupon code that's needed? The price comes up $69.99 at checkout and I was logged into my account.

Did you place an order before? I think the 10% off only applies once for 1 order per account.

If some of you bothered to read the posts you would know why you're not getting the $63 price like the others are.

I bought something from SanDisk that was discounted some time earlier this year which was posted on Slickdeals when their store was hosted on https://shop.sandisk.com . As soon as I logged in my account the the WD store today it made me reset my password and I noticed WD has merged SanDisk w/ the WD store so that may have something to do w/ it. However, when I looked at my order history nothing shows up so what gives?

That may be why because it was considered an old account. I think if you create a new account using a different email address, that will likely work.

Correct. They don't appear to do any sort of name or shipping address matchups.

It would depend on the model.

New to NVME drives and working on building a desktop. Is there a real word difference between nvme pcie 4 and 3? If I purchased this, what motherboard platform should I be looking at? Thanks!

Edit: This would primarily be a PC gaming build

I think it depends on the year/model. Specs for one 2019 version I found show an NVME SSD, which would be compatible, but specs for an earlier model listed a SATA SSD. You'll have to check your spec sheet to be sure (or you can use the Dell serial number lookup; that should also give you the relevant info)..

Not sure if it's been noted, but Newegg via ebay has this for the same price, probably faster shipping than WD
