Before buying any clippers, do yourself a favor and search the word "pull" on the Amazon reviews or any website that will let you search for a specific word.

I have had several bad experiences with Wahl hair clippers in past. I bought two of these exact clippers in the past year and both broke in less than 2 uses each.

I decided to go with Phillips and haven't had a problem since. I loved having a greater selection of sizes but even with cleaning and oiling Wahl never last. I almost gave up on haircuts because of my experiences with wahl. Since using the Phillips I've never had any issues.
I have had my Wahl classic for well over 18 years. It is built like a tank. Very reliable. Before that I had been using Oster because they were supposed to be "the best". I went through 3 Oster (also blades would dull quickly) and finally switched to Wahl. I will never use anything else and at the time most Wahls were still made in USA. Oster had already sold out and moved mfg to China

This is a good deal, same motor as the Chrome pro, but the Elite pro is still the better deal if you can find it.

Here's a good comparison: https://youtu.be/lMY0BGrCYhM

Kemei has a store on AliExpress, so I would buy directly from them if going that route. I'm not sure if there are counterfeit ones out there, it doesn't seem that way going by the reviews on AliExpress, but you never know.

Idk why people are down voting for giving my opinion but whatever.
IDK either. Shills, fanboys, SD staff, or maybe just the slow-witted? It's frustrating to see the best info getting crapped on.

Easily cordless. I have this one (large 2500mAh battery) and have had 2-3 haircuts and have also trimmed my beard; still has charge (havent recharged). People saying corded have probably never tried a good cordless.

Wahl and other name brands are outdated IMO, Surker and Kemei (and probably other chinese companies) are taking over. Look at PremierCuts on youtube, and also search google with whatever model you're interested in and put reddit. Doing that you will see professional barbers who compare these $50 chinese clippers to $150+ Wahl's.
Clippers "outdated" ? laughable. If the design is good and it works and is reliable then why change it and "who cares". If it aint broke, dont fix it! I would gladly take many other products that were deemed "outdated" but superior design and reliability to the Chinese junk being sold today. The Chinese versions are probably copies of the USA patented technology anyway but cheap parts that wont last long.

Yes outdated as in the comparable product (not a $25 consumer product) is $189 and doesnt even show battery life or have a USB charging cord. You're welcome to search and get the opinion of barbers and see who is right, reddit and youtube have multiple barbers for you to learn from.

Here's a comparison for you, considering price ($30 Kemei vs $200 Wahl)- you really think these $25 Wahl's are going to compete LOL:

I'll take the opinion of professionals with the clippers in hand. You do what makes sense to you.

I doubt that these $20 ones are anywhere near the same quality as almost 20 years ago. But either way Lucky you.
