Why is that
cuz they "pull" instead of cutting or trimming his hairs? that sounds painful though

From my experience, pray that you don't need to contact Wahl.
I had an issue and sent them 6 emails over a period of 2 weeks without a single response.

Have used these clippers to cut my hair, they do a good job, but they will not cut facial hair or around the neckline, These clippers do tend to get hot after a while, it does come with many interchangeable clippers. Have not done eyebrows with this, afraid it might shave them off completely. It does come with a 5-year warranty I have to play with the unit more over time.

Adjust the blade to 0 gap. YouTube it and you'll get a close cut

Found this same clipper for $17 a couple of weeks ago at walmart in Godfrey, IL. Should have bought all 3 but didn't want to be greedy. Works pretty well. The gf is getting better with each attempt lol. Ordered a #10 guard from Wahl but haven't had any luck finding a #12 in stock.
Learn to cut your own hair. If you screw up, you can just cut it off. Ive been cutting my own hair for almost 10 years now. The first year, it was just a buzz cut - hehe lots of screw ups. In case, you get a new gf, you don't have to start over again 😉

Its little late but for what its worth, I had purchased this one about a month ago at the same price from Walmart. I had used it to cut my son's and my hair and I can say I was very disappointed with its blade quality. I have been cutting my hair by myself since last 20 years or so the only reason why I purchased this was because Costco sells this brand. I was expecting better quality The build seems okay but the cut quality is very poor. I had to cut over and over on the same area 4-5 times to get proper cut. Without clips, this thing is almost unusable. Based on these few cuts, I am planning to return this.

If it helps anyone I've got 3 different style trimmers. 2 cordless and one wahl corded.
I started cutting my own hair once the shut downs began after watching several YouTube how to videos. I haven't been back to the stylist since.
I recently purchased cordless brand "Surker Mens Hair Clippers Cordless Hair Trimmer Haircut & Grooming Kit For Men" So far its been the best trimmer I've used. Its powerful, has all the guide combs I need and last multiple cuts before I even need to think of charging it.
You can find it here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZZYWF3P
Cost $55 but the no cord in the way of cutting your own hair is worth the cost and will pay for itself after 2-3 cuts.

Which version is better?
Corded (this one) or the cordless version (Amazon back-order).
I will say cordless. I have both. If charge runs out you can always plug it in and finish your cut. I have used it 2 years now almost weekly and no issues. Corded was heavier somehow.

I just cancelled my Costco backorder after 45 days of waiting. Got it when it was "in stock". Was marked as "shipped" on 5/31, but didn't. Spent several hours trying to get to Costco online order support (over an hour wait *all the time*). Kept getting dropped. Finally talked to the in-store customer service who has a special back-door number to the online order support where it gets picked up instantly (no, they didn't give me the number, just dialed it for me right there). The guy said "back ordered even though said shipped, no clue when it's going to get shipped".

So if you want to actually use it some time this year, get the Walmart one. If you don't care how many *months* it's going to take to get it, Costco looks like a really nice set. I just came back from Costco (the brick-n-mortar store I went to to check on my *online* order, WTF?) and specifically searched here for alterntive places to buy a set. I'm going with this one from Walmart because I want it *now*, not months from now.
Thanks for the extra long life experience review. Its very valuable for the $25 clipper decision

Corded is typically more powerful than a cordless even on a full charge. And Wahl ain't going nowhere in barbershops. A couple hundred bucks is nothing to a business.

Corded bro, imagine yourself with half a haircut. Thank me later.

Question is, what is the better buy, this or Costco one when in stock? https://www.costco.com/wahl-delux...41517.html

Seems like this might be if you don't need the other cordless add-on?
Costco looks better.
