In mid June i ordered moldex n95s from msc direct and they were shipped right away, so basing my experience that they may ship on that.

EHS professional: Performing fit test and new mask testing at a Houston area Hospital.

So we just got these DC300N95 Honeywell early last week.

Fit: No nose piece adjustment, very very thin fabric, good strap material.

Who this fits: Limited experience testing but we are pushing them first testing because we have so many.

Fits small faces with low wide bridge noses. Everyone else that I've put this on has been failing miserably with the OSHA 1910.134 Quantitative fit test. ( Failing is >1% leakage rate, <100 score)

I would recommend this respirator for women with low wide bridge noses. Would be much to small for men.

Protection: Even if it doesn't fit you perfectly you will still have greater protection then a surgical mask. (just would hurt anyone with a large nose bridge)

Would I buy: Because of the lack of metal nose piece you lose a major ability to conform the respirator to various facial structures. Unless you have a very exact facial structure (mentioned above) this will not provide you with a good seal.

Hope my limiting testing using this respirator helps out some folks decisions.

I know there were reports of inferior masks showing up in other countries that were produced in China. So much so that they were returned to sender. Do you know if that could be the case here? Your comment about very thin fabric and no nose piece gives me pause.
Some N95s just dont have a metal adjustable nose piece, they are more comfortable but they don't fit near as many facial structures as those that do.

As mentioned in threads before you are getting your fitment from the nose. In my humble experience testing 99.5 % of fitment issues is the critical nose piece.

As this is the most critical place I would opt for respirators with a metal nose piece to have a wider fitment range as most dont have prior fitment experience or can't tell if the respirator is leaking.

Although the filter material is very very thin (compared to 3m 1860, 1870, 1805, moldexs 2200 etc those who did have the correct facial structure achieved a perfect score.

With non adjustable nose piece respirators you see a perfect score or a miserable fail. No in between.

Authenticity: Although I cant vouche for this seller (no research) I can say the hospitals are using them.

Thanks for sharing. While you were posting, I was ordering. These masks being too small was exactly what I was afraid of. I'm thinking of canceling.

Same here.

I already got an email about processing and if we intend to modify order, to do it quickly before shipping, so I'm thinking tomorrow morning, yeah.

Appreciate it man. Definitely wouldnt be mad at your or anything if it didnt ship haha. The fact that you got an N95 order shipped last month in the middle of this pandemic is good reason to be hopeful this will ship to. You did us a solid by giving us the heads up. Anything else is out of your control.

I was about to order the powecom KN95s with the headbands which ive been procrastinating on ordering , but then I saw this. So, I"ll be hoping a shipping email comes through.

I got the email order confirmation, but the order doesnt show in "My Account" on the website. I think they may manually process orders or something and that may be why. The email said something about they are in the process of reviewing my order with a Credit Assosciate...whatever that means.

When you log into your account, go to order history, and change the field after the text " displaying orders by" to "my company". Im guessing it defaults to "me" or vice versa. Should see your order then.

Generally, are hospitals or LTC homes allowed to accept mask donations?

The government assures us that a ration of a single N95 mask for every high risk elder per six moth period is still impossible. We must believe the authorities and accept that continuing to do nothing to prevent elders and folks at highest risk for developing infections which filling icu hospital beds is the right thing to do. Wall street seems to agree.

Yeah, pretty sure there must be overrides of some sort happening. I only tried with the Grainger deal and this one. What's curious is the vendor still putting up availability if they know full well the product will be commandeered.

Unless you work in a setting that's sees the general public don't get it! Minimize seeing people! With cases going up hospital is getting swamp again and it's gonna repeat again! Nurse friends of mind we're given 1 surgical mask for ever 8hrs shift!
