All the masks of this style I've tried have very poor fitting, at least for adults. If you talk or open your mouth, you will expose your nose kind of a thing.
Don't sweat it too much on filtration, if we are talking COVID, you wear the mask mostly to cut down on projecting your own micro-spit when you talk and breathe. If the person across from you also wears a mask, the cumulative effect should be enough.
These are elastic foam like based. The material itself offers some filtration because it is pretty dense. You still breathe fine through it: oxygen is literally BILLIONS of times finer than the "Droplets" and viral particles we are concerned with. If you have breathing "discomfort" is mostly because air is warmer if you breathe it through the mask. Adding fabric layers can make it worse as far as breathing comfort goes w/o increasing safety really: many of the "hand made" cloth masks sold all-over are actually really bad in this regard (i.e. multiple layers of some non-breathable cloth picked by a layman and sawn together).
If you want more ensured filtration, get yourself a mask with pockets compatible with PM2.5 filters, and use PM2.5 inserts. Again, this is not N95 per se, but it is not needed for everyday use + N95 rated products will be degraded to "under-N95" if worn for an hour or so (I think guidance calls for >30min), because you saturate it with your own droplets (reason medical personnel should not be forced to think twice to change their masks for new ones when the almost surely come in contact with positive cases all day, to protect themselves + the non positive people they are there to protect).
The Adidas sports mask that was a FP offer the other week, was a good fit for me and also PM2.5 compatible (no inserts included). I think it went OOS, but keep an eye for something comparable.
I sell plenty of these daily, they are crap. sorry.

How much can it filter? Believe this is what someone was asking.
I'm remodeling a bathroom and I haven't been able to find any dust masks to keep the drywall dust and everything going into my nose and throat would this help for that?
