Why get this one if the 2k one goes on sale for around the same price very often!
I got the 2K one for 129.99. Totally worth it. The resolution is awesome and the speed to get to live video is instant. Unlike my ring blink and skybell.
Yes. I have Eufy doorbell and one reason I bought it is no fees. Its great and also addes two cameras for front and backyard

Great device, love it.
Just make sure you have high output transformer. 16/10 wont work. Bought 24/40 to juice it up.

Is this a new model?

I find references to 1080p and 2k resolution on its product page, but it looks identical to the 2k wired model seen here https://smile.amazon.com/Security...026&sr=8-3

I got "The promotional code you entered is not valid."

nevermind, copy paste doesn't work, needs to be manually entered

Good question.
I can't find info on eufy's site on a 1080 doorbell camera.
Makes you wonder if it's a misprint, or otherwise.

It appears the model numbers and ASIN numbers for 2k and 1080p are different. I'm guessing these two models have the same hardware, but they limit the resolution in the newer model to 1080P to create a cheaper SKU.

Hmmm........I was waiting for the 2K version to go down to $109 again.

The only "2k" I found is in the "What's included" part which could be a copy and paste misprint. The image shows 1600x1200, so I guess it's 1080 grade.

I have a nest hello doorbell now but I didn't renew my nest aware subscription after they bumped up the yearly subscription price. Doesnt make any sense because I have no other nest cameras. Is this a good comparable replacement?

It's nice to see this back down to a reasonable price.

Now they need get the floodlight cam back down to a decent price! It's only a 1080p cam with $5 worth of LEDs jammed on top, but they still want $199.

Oh, weird. I didn't even realize they made a 1080p version of this. I thought their doorbell came straight to market as a 2k. I bought it way back in August 2019 for $109.99
