Pretty strong SSD, comes with a decent software management tool too.

Why would you shuck it? You can get a regular SSD for cheaper, lol.
It has an overheating problem. When it starts up it's super fast but it quickly throttles and the speeds go slower then the t5 for writing. And a lot of people use them on black magic camera's which if they throttle they can ruin your workflow while filming.
1050mbps read speed vs 120? Ssd vs Hard disk spinning drive. Two completely different products.

The 2TB version is cheaper per g/b. Recommend that one

Um doesn't the T7 have the fingerprint sensor on it? I don't see the sensor in the photos

They make two versions, one with the sensor and one without.

I've got a T5 and it's fantastic.. Why does the T7 have worse reviews than the T5?

It's hard to know. I think some people by the T7 and expect the faster speeds but don't have a laptop that support the gen 2 speeds to utilize it. I'm slightly concerned with the claims of getting really hot. I'm also looking to see how it performs over large transfers but haven't found a good review yet.

Wondering the difference between this and the WD 5tb one which is so much cheaper. Why is this one way more pricey? Is it worth?
