Can you have multiple Chase Freedom Unlimited cards and qualify for bonus? I already have one.

Rejected. My credit score is 800. The only thing i can point to is my pending refinance on my property.
Chase has a 5/24 rule and most of us who are churning these cards are at lol/24.

I have a 803 credit score and just got denied. I've only opened 1 credit card in the past 2 years, so I shouldn't be anywhere near this 5/24 rule everyone is mentioning. I am truly baffled. I can't think of a single reason I'd be denied. Letter will be coming in 7-10 days I guess.

I applied for this a few weeks ago - wondering if I am eligible? I don't see the offer when I look in my Chase account.

Also, initially I wasn't approved because I have my CREDIT FROZEN. I keep forgetting about that. Got a letter to call them after it was unfrozen, then took a few minutes to get approved on the phone.

I have a Chase Freedom Unlimited card that I got ~8 years ago. If I apply for this one, I won't get the $200 bonus, correct? I'd have to close that one first?

Not multiple of the same card. 1 Freedom Unlimited and 1 Freedom — yes.

Call the reconsideration line immediately.

I got rejected and have a credit score of over 800. I have a Chase card, but I got it over a year ago. What the hell?
Call the reconsideration line immediately.

If you get rejected sometimes there are errors in their automation side or just simply discrepancies. I have always called the reconsideration lines for credit agencies and sometimes even gotten approved over the phone.

At the least it will tell you why you got denied and it will be a learning experience. In this specific case: Always call laugh out loud

If you're an authorized additional member on someone else's account for this card, are you allowed to apply for yourself as well, or do you have to choose one or the other?

When you receive the denial letter, give them a call to review your application again and appeal the denial decision. It doesn't hurt you to do so.

I switched over to this card recently from the Fidelity Investment Credit Card 2% reward. The FI CC 2% reward was pretty lame. In order to get 2% cash back, you have to put those reward points into your Fidelity Investment account or else you can only get 1% cash back on everything else.

Just be careful with debt everybody. Learn from Dave Ramsey on YouTube and never look back on plastics. Use it and pay it off every month. Don't spend more than you make and give money to the banks on interest. Have a budget and live debt free.
