Was chatting with support randomly to see if they preferred the Dyson V8 Absolute ($349.99) or the Refurbished Dyson Cyclone V10 Motorhead ($299.99). They said it was a tricky one and said "We have a chat special of the V8 Animal Pro+ that is on our website for $449.99 your price here is $299.99 plus another free tool at check out." So I went with the V8 Animal Pro+ for $150 off

The 'Live chat' button will appear on the bottom corner of your screen as soon as a Dyson Expert becomes available."

Am not seeing it pop up though to get to an agent.

Costco had this in stock but is sold out now. I have had good luck with convincing Dyson chat to match Costco even if it is out of stock.

I just noticed that it is for the PRO version which is exclusive to Dyson. Ignore me.

Although it didn't come with the hardwood head, the V11 Animal deal at BBB was they way to go for $400 after coupon. But I believe that deal is dead.

The V11 has the high torque head but also the automatic floor sensor so it lowers the speed when it detects hardwood floors.

I believe the difference is that the Animal Pro+ includes two extra attachments but I could be wrong. (An Up-top adaptor and Reach-under tool for floor-to-ceiling deep cleans)

I have hard floor throughout and I use a V8 Animal bought years ago.

It's losing battery life, thinking of getting one of these V10 Animal deals. Should I just keep trying to maintain the V8?

Which do you recommend the V8 Animal Pro+ or the V8 Absolute?
I have two dogs that love play in dirt, and laminate floors and tile floors.

I purchased a refurb from Walmart but I was disappointed in the quality control so I'm gonna pull the trigger on a new one.

I wanted an absolute version since I have mostly hardwood at home and asked for any sale on it. They said there is no chat special for any of the absolute vaccums. The chat special price is only available for the V8 animal pro version. Thanks OP for the find!
