Ryobi 40v String Trimmer Attachment Capable $114 at Home Depot YMMV

YMMV Zip Code 32256. Ryobi 40v String Trimmer that is Attachment Capable for $114 at Home Depot online and in store. Includes battery and charger. Used veteran discount for an extra 10% off to make it a little sweeter.

I am heavily invested in the Expand-it accessories and have been shopping for an attachment capable string trimmer for a long time. This price seems feisty to me.

The Brushless version is on sale for $154 - price lowered which is also feisty.

Brushed and brushless leaf blowers are also included in this deal

Select Brushless mowers also included

Seems like most are changing the zip code and then paying with PayPal to ship to home. YMMV

I had no problems changing the zip and ordering and paying with a regular CC. Not sure if that matters, but it does not seem like using Paypal is required.

Ship to home option not available for me with either Dallas or Jacksonville zips. What zip did you use to have it shipped?

OP, did you buy in-store to get vet discount? I can't find a way to link my HD account to id.me

Yep. The OP zip won't allow me to ship either from his zip.

Would it make sense to jump in the 40 volt family if the 18 volt brushless is the same price with 4ah battery? I have little use for a string trimmer outside of light twice and my gas unit is pissing me off.
A lot more tools into the 18+ volts family

Just FYI
OEM Replacement battery is $100.

Always check replacement battery price when buying any power tools.

Apparently you can also get $25 off when selecting Ego Mowers and some Ego tools, using same zip code approach.

Seems to be regional, I still get regular pricing on everything.

Good deals for those who can get it. I really like the Expand-it option which also works with other brands (Troybilt, Craftsman, etc...)

Thanks OP. We just moved into our new home and this was the perfect deal I was able to get the 40v mower and trimmer shipped for cheaper than a local pickup with your zipcode and to sweeten the deal I had a "Welcome to the neighborhood" mailer from Home Depot that gave me an extra 15% off online orders.

Home Depot only allows veteran discount "in store".

I'm a new homeowner as well. I got the 40v mower and love it, first time cutting grass. I want to cut it more often than once a week. Showed my brother and he was amazed, said he wants one.

I just ordered this and waiting to see how it is.
