Ryobi 40v String Trimmer Attachment Capable $114 at Home Depot YMMV

YMMV Zip Code 32256. Ryobi 40v String Trimmer that is Attachment Capable for $114 at Home Depot online and in store. Includes battery and charger. Used veteran discount for an extra 10% off to make it a little sweeter.

I am heavily invested in the Expand-it accessories and have been shopping for an attachment capable string trimmer for a long time. This price seems feisty to me.

The Brushless version is on sale for $154 - price lowered which is also feisty.

Brushed and brushless leaf blowers are also included in this deal

Select Brushless mowers also included

Cold water - no ship to home options w/brushless.
Looks like this is still live. Think what you have to do is sign out and then check out as a guest (think that's why someone previously mentioned he had to use PayPal). This is pretty cool that this works. Never known this to work for HD previously (changing zip used to work for Lowes back in the day). Anyway, know this a long shot but kind of interested in a 40v chainsaw. Anyone see those on sale anywhere in the country (they aren't on sale with the zip codes provided)? Don't need the trimmer or anything else because I already grabbed the $150 makita trimmer/blower clearance deal a few weeks ago but have a ryobi 40v lawnmower and would like to have at least one other battery for it. Plus the Makita 36v chainsaws are a little on the expensive side. They have the 18v one on clearance right now for $130 but think I need something a little larger with more power. Doubt I'll ever find a killer deal on a 36v one because most stores don't carry those.

Edit: Trying messing around a bit and couldn't find a deal on the 14" chainsaw with the battery or that chainsaw with polesaw kit but I settled on and ordered the 16" chainsaw with battery today online since it's on sale (was $250 now $200).

I've seen all a lot of the brushed tools on sale lately that have replacement brushless models. But they vary a lot by zip code. The 18v model of this was $109 here but 200 miles away at my daughter's house it was only $89.

Does anyone know if the newer 40v battery Expand-It line will work with Ryobi's gas powered Expand-It attachments from 8-10 years ago?

The "expand it" type attachments should work fine for the 40v trimmer that is 114. Deal is still alive. Changed zip, picked 1st store, then picked shipped to home. Payment type doesn't matter. Used a home depot gift card, no problem. Was 121.55 after tax in NJ.

Looks like brushless is OOS... correction... They are in stock locally to the OPs zip code, just don't have a ship to home option for those not local.

These are $159 in KY. Even tried Brick Seek. Every location listed is $159. Guess I'll go for 18V.

Been using the brushed manual bump string trimmer for multiple seasons and very happy with it. I'm not going after tall grass/weeds but would say it's capable compared to a corded one I had ages ago. The wind up to full power takes 1-2 seconds which isn't that bad.

Yeah, many stores have this trimmer listed at $139 and in some markets for $159 but regardless of what the local price is if you follow the instructions by the OP and change the zip code you can get this for $114 as long as you choose ship to home. (It still works BTW)
