I'm tempted to try this at this price. I need a new gaming mouse for a bunch of different genres. I just ordered a logitexh g604 lightspees because I loved the g602. Can anyone comment on this vs the g604? I mainly play shooters like WWZ and Warzone, RTS games like company of heros and age of empires, and isometric hack and slash like diablo 3.

I use an older model of this mouse for all my gaming and love the form factor. Mine did develop the double click problem a little over a year in and had to get it replaced under warranty. No issues with the replacement and would recommend this mouse.

This has been the price on Amazon since April. Why is it suddenly a slickdeal? I'm seeing a lot of "deals" lately on the front page that really aren't deals.

You're lucky it happened during the warranty period. I've replaced 3 Death Adders over the years all due to the double clicking issue. I've switched to Logitech Lightspeed now.

I had trouble with this mouse. Took forever to figure out that it wasn't configured for my mouse pad correctly in the drivers. It was a poor experience as the mouse randomly became unresponsive to movement.

Anyway, maybe it's my fault for not configuring the mouse pad settings but I've never had this problem with a different mouse.

Why is a simple mouse so expensive?

Had one of these for 6+ years. It survived untold hours of Diablo 3, League of Legends, and many FPS games. Had to replace it because the laser started failing in it. Sadly, the newer model's quality is not the same. Already having responsiveness issues. I've been using Razer products since the Boomslang. Not sure if I'm going to keep purchasing the mice if the quality doesn't come up from where it is now.

Crazy accurate and precise sensor, several times more advanced than your average cheap generic office mouse. Also it's green and named after a snake, which easily doubles the cost.

Good deal at this price. I have this mouse and I paid full price for it about a year ago. Works great.

Not so simple... this has been the #1 rated gaming mouse for the last 5+ years in a row (over 10 million sold). If you don't game, or maybe you are just a casual gamer who doesn't care about performance, then this is not the mouse for you.

Personally I used to be a hardcore gamer, but have become more casual recently. I actually use a Logitech for my daily driver (I work from home) and switch to my Razer Elite when gaming.
