Good info. I think the effectiveness of some of these depend on things like your height and build. If you don't mind sharing, how tall are you?
Well, atleast buy me a drink first...

I'm 5 '7, shoulders/build are slightly above average.

It is the same price as Luxury Slabway Shiatsu Full Body Massage Chair. Not sure which one to get any idea or suggestion thanks
I don't know anything about this chair but I have the Slabway one. It's nice but there are two things that I find annoying about it...

1. The most annoying thing is that the section that massages your forearms doesn't move with you when you recline. When I recline my hands end up the forearm massagers and my forearms don't get any pressure at all.

2. If you select a preset massage function, when the time runs out the chair turns off without returning you to the upright position. Which means I have to click the on/off button twice to turn it on again and then off again so it returns the chair to an upright position to get out. Minor inconvenience but worth mentioning.

It isn't clear on HD or the Osaki site but this seems 3D from the explanations I've read and the details of the chair.

2D: up and down and side to side rollers
3D: adds in and out to adjust for intensity and ability to select where the rollers are focused
4D: adds speed of the roller movement (like knead in a fast or slow movement)
I have owned several massage chairs for 15 years but never learned about these D's. ThanksLMAO

Point 2: you're not alone. I have another manufacturer and it does the same at the end of the program. Same firmware they are all sharing I guess.

I never post, but thought I could add some value hear. I purchased 2 chairs on home depots last massage chair sale a few weeks ago. I purchased both the synca chairs, one was 5k other was $2500. I tried both out, both good chairs, very different from each other, but not what I had hope for.

I called titan and asked them if there were any local resellers where I could try some of their chairs at and they pointed me to the closest store. I went in, tried several chairs, admiral, maestro, yamato, did it all, over all price ranges, I told the owner of the store I really wanted something to fix the knots in my upper back and shoulders as I can no longer get my weekly massage in this Post Covid world. He said try this chair, it's the cheapest chair but you might like it (Aster chair).

I'll be honest, I was blown away, (I'm pretty sure it's 2-D). It didn't have a fancy remote, was relatively small compared to their other chairs, but it just hit the right spots, I would rate the foot massage a B/B- with the Yamato chair having a better foot massage. But this chair is simple and extremely effective. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but don't discount this chair because of its price, I mean, I went back tot he store a few times because it just didn't make sense to me that this chair broke the knots up in my back better than the 2 chairs I had at home from Synca which were far more expensive. I'm not trying to present a Bias review, the Synca chairs really have their pros as well and many would find them to be better chairs, I'm just saying for MY Upper back, and MY shoulders, this chair is a beast, and that's not even considering its far cheaper than any other. This is a smoking deal- highly recommend getting a 15% off coupon from HD and purchasing this chair, use the CB site as well. HD was generous with picking up my other chairs and issuing a full refund- 0 cost to me.
Thanks for the detailed review. My wife is having issues with her upper back, neck and shoulders and this sounds perfect. What are the dimensions? Tried looking on the Home Depot website and couldn't find anything.

EDIT: Nevermind, found it in the product brochure.

If you are in the market, make sure you go to a store with a showroom where you can try various models out for 15-30 min. These chairs are in the 200-300 lb range, so good luck returning it if you haven't vetted it before hand. I own a Daiwa which are in the $3-5K range. Factor in the delivery method into your purchase. Do not go with a drop shipper, especially if this is going upstairs or downstairs like mines is. You will want the company that sells it to install it and calibrate it. Also, put it through the ringer while you're in warranty to work out any kinks, I used my warranty quite a bit with Daiwa footing the costs of technician visits. Daiwa has a major hub in my metro area with many technicians, a reason for my purchase. Ensure whichever brand you go with has a hub near you. Lastly, select a model that corresponds to your size and the massage function that you'll use the most. Don't be afraid to negotiate either.

One of my biggest issues with massage chairs is that I often feel like the S / L track doesn't conform to my back and often feels like it skips portions of my back. I've only experienced one chair from Daiwa that blew me away. In the reclined position it felt like a giant roller was straddling both sides of my spine and really worked well. We're any of the chairs you tried like this?

Will this chair fit 6'2"? I haven't previously found one that really big enough.

I would only buy one of these through Costco for their warranty. Also, HD sucks.
