It is the old gem but it has similar performance as i7 10750h. However, Intel start discontinuing 10750h and it would be replaced by 8 core 10850h soon.

It's Max Q 2070 right? If that's the case, a newer 2060 is likely going to outperform it, so decent deal on an alienware but not 'slick'

Actually it looks like the 2070 with Max-Q is still faster... https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...1vsm701609

This is honestly a terrible laptop. I bought it and returned it. Battery life is shit as expected. The Alienware lighting UI is terrible and some of the keys get stuck on a certain color and you can't turn it off or reset it even with software reset.

TU for the deal and I own alienware lap. Just out of curiosity, does anyone felt buyer remose on gaming laptop? Thinking back, I should just get gaming desktop and cheapo thin laptop instead. My gaming laptop never leaves my desk. FYI, I don't know about this laptops fan noise but mine feels like a jet is about to flyoff.

Yea. I had to undervolt my Dell G7's processor so it wouldn't overheat and throttle. It had an i7-8750h. I can't speak for this laptop and the i7-9750h though. It seems a lot of gaming laptops have issues with overheating, and there are good ways to avoid is such as using throttlestop to undervolt, and/or re-applying thermal paste in some cases.
