Sprint (now part of T-Mobile): Free Apple iPhone 11 via 24 monthly bill credits with port in and qualifying trade in

+8 Deal Score
50,582 Views
The 24-month installment deal is back on Sprint, and it gives you even better deal than previous flex lease.

This is a 24-month installment billing agreement, not a lease, and you own the iPhone after 24 months.

iPhone 11 (64 GB) $0/mo. [sprint.com] after $29.17/mo. credit, applied within two bills. With approved credit, eligible unlocked trade-in in good working condition, 24-mo. installment billing agreement, new acct., port, & new line on Unlimited Plus or Premium. If you cancel wireless service, credits may stop & remaining balance on required finance agreement may be due. Taxes due at sale.

For existing Sprint customers, you can add a new line and port in a number to get this deal even though the above says "new acct." I have confirmed this with Sprint. This is an excellent deal for those who recently bought the pre-owned iPhone 8 for $99 from Sprint.

For Sprint SWAC customers, this deal works with the $30/mo Advantage Unlimited Plus plan, so put those $99 iPhone 8s to good use. Who says SWAC is dying and has no more good deals. Stick Out Tongue

Eligible Tier 1 Trade-In Devices ($700 off iPhone 11 = free via $29.17/mo bill credit):
Apple: X, XR, XS Series, 8 Series
Samsung: GS20 Series, S10 Series, Note 10 Series, Note 9
Google: Pixel 4/XL
LG: V60 ThinQ
OnePlus: 8, 8 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro McLaren
Eligible Tier 2 Trade-In Devices ($500 off iPhone 11 via $20.84/mo bill credit):
Apple: iPhone 6S series, 7 series
Samsung: GS9 Series, GS8 Series, Note 8
Google: Pixel 3/XL, 3A/XL
LG: G8 ThinQ, G7 ThinQ, V50 ThinQ, V40 ThinQ
OnePlus: 6, 6T, 7 Pro, 7
Eligible trade in phone must be in good condition, must be unlocked, not lost/stolen or on a Sprint Lease or Installment Billing. Must be deactivated and all personal data deleted. Device will not be returned.

Where do get free sprint sim?
Sprint SIM is included for free. If you need extra, go to the Apple store and they will give you one for free.

I have an iPhone 6s plus to trade in for this deal but I'm concerned that the terms state that you will receive a credit for UP TO $500. It says that you'll receive a credit based on the fair market value for your phone. Is there any way to tell if I'll receive the full $500 credit? Any help is appreciated.

As long as it satisfies the following, you will receive the full $500 credit:

...good condition, must be unlocked, not lost/stolen or on a Sprint Lease or Installment Billing. Must be deactivated and all personal data deleted.

No cracked screen. Must power on. Normal scratches and normal wear and tear are ok.

So my understanding is the "up to" part is an immediate credit. So $700 phone minus $80 trade in value is credited across 24 months. E.g. $620/24

Kickstart has been dead since July 12. I think it's clear that T-Mobile has no interest in offering discounted single line plans unfortunately
Damn. There were some crazy good deals up till even a few months ago (at one point you could move to a Kickstart BYOD and get a $300 visa card. Basically paying for 9 months or so. Solo line.

I have $35 kickstarter plan with BYOD remaining from $300 promo, can I take advantage of this somehow? I am also offered $100 to port one of my lines back. I have iPhone 8 I could trade would keep 11 for 24 months no problem.

Not so much compared to last weeks deal when it was with 6s and above for iPhone 11 to be free and that's 24Mo bill credit as well.

6s can be in any condition (broken but working also accepted)

Still good for someone who would like to stay with sprint for 24 and group plan is competitive as well
I did this deal on Jul 24, when it was first offered for existing customers. Prior to this, it required new acct / new line.

The offer was accepted on my acct first. Got iPh11. Trading in iPh7. Full credit $29.17/mo. I had to register at sprint.com/buyback using the promo code 20iPhone11Web. When I ordered on the phone, they said the return kit would come with the phone, but it didn't. So I called and was told to follow the steps I mentioned above.

I am on Unlimited Savings (aka Unlimited Freedom MRC) plan. Has anyone gone thru a new billing cycle after signing up for the deal, existing customer and adding a new line, where they see $29.17 bill credit for the device? My bill will generate tomorrow so I will report back.

Can someone please confirm the process and if they are seeing a phone credit or not?

Thx

This offer requires you to add a new line and is available to all new and existing Sprint customers. Upgrade for this offer is only available to select few Sprint customers. Log into your account, click on deals and then my offers and then your line. If it is available to you, you will see it there. Or dial *2 from your Sprint phone and ask to look up the NBA offer on your account and see if it is available to you. NBA is next best action, not the NBA basketball. Stick Out Tongue
If you are an existing customer, you are only eligible if the offer shows up on your acct. You have to accept the offer first on the acct. Don't know if every existing cust was offered this deal. It had to be on the acct for eligible for the existing customers. Maybe it was for all customers, I am not sure. It was on my acct.

Thanks. And the offer works with new line on the same plan as the account, correct? Doesn't require any specific plan for the existing user, right? Thx

Depends on the type of plans. For example, some plans such as the grandfathered SERO BASIC 3G, where you can't add a new line with that plan anymore. All the plans available to you will be shown on your account when you try to add a new line.
