Great deal on what I consider the two best m12 tools for home improvement projects. I have them both but spent more than this to get them and ended up with other tools I could live without.

Add price title OP. Also the "12-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless " isn't needed after "fuel" makes it easier to see in notifications.
Edit : clarity.

Would be a good deal if the ratchet was also included.

Unless you need the compact format actor of the hackzall, just get a regular sawzall

i'm not an expert but i´m thinking in buy a makita hammer drill and impact driver combo, https://www.homedepot.com/p/Makit.../207054643

i choosen this option because i`m not a contractor but i`m handy with many projects even with my car , maybe asisting me in my job (as irrigation technician with the electrical parts)so my criteria was choose one brand that allow expand to more tools in the future with same batteries without pay a lot of money... what do you think guys? start with this m12 or start with the makita combo?

They are different tools. This tool is unique and allows true one handed action with the power of a standard 18v Sawzall. It's also one of the very best tools in the M12 line.

How do these tools match up with equivalent DeWalt products? What would be equivalent?

There are more than a hundred M12 tools available, so it's not exactly a limited platform. But beyond brand, you need to decide if you value the lightweight and compactness of 12v tools versus the full power of the larger 18v tools. https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Innovations/M12 [milwaukeetool.com]

DeWalt is way behind in options and development of their 12v lineup. Maybe their new 12v Xtreme tools will eventually compete, but there aren't many of them: https://www.dewalt.com/products/p...atform/12v

I bought the makita blower, and that thing is way better than the EGO blower IMO. It's so light and delivers at 456cfm/116mph I think I'm going into the makita 18v ecosystem after using this tool.
