It is $50, what do you expect?

Schwinn's own 12" balance bike is like $75.

My 2c ? Although usable, a 12" bike is too small for toddlers @ age able to ride it w/o training wheels. I cannot recommend enough getting a 12" Balance bike (doesn't need to be Schwinn's), then transition to a 14 or 16" regular bike and skip on the training wheels altogether.

My 3yo rode his 14" bike by himself within 5 min of assembling it, after a bit less than a year on his balance bike. Training wheels never came out of the box.

Interesting that they have it in stock at local store. Last time I was there, the bike racks for floor to ceiling were completely wiped out.

It's not worth $50. Use your favorite neighborhood app or marketplace and get something used for $50 and way better. You'll hate yourself if you buy this POS

My niece had this until she was 8. I think she is couple of inches above 40 now. The bike lasted over 3 years. She was using training wheels up until now. Now she has bigger bike w/o training wheels. She had no issue riding new bike without training wheels, thanks to this bike.

The good thing about this bike is that the chain is covered so kids dont mess around with it. It also protects it from moisture/rust due to weather abuse.Anyways, its a kids bike. Put a helmet on the kid and dont think or waste too too much time researching training bikes. As a parent you have other important things to deal with around you.

Yes of course, held on but 2 bolts, one on each side. Take em of take out training wheels put bolts back on. Very easy. 12" is pretty dang small though

Any chance a 5'10" 30 yr old could ride this? 2020 is making it really hard to find new bikes anywhere!
