I don't think Lenovo Legion 5i is using the new 115W variant. It is probably the 80W or 90W version.

I also saw this laptop at a B&M Costco in SoCal. I should have taken a picture of it, but I believe the specs
and price are identical at $1199.99.

EDIT: Ah, here's the Costco online listing:

Microcenter had it at this price for a short time. This is the lowest I've seen it otherwise. If I needed a new laptop, I'd buy this one.

It's using the new version but it's limited to 80W which defeats the purpose.

I asked the seller and the keyboard backlight is only in white, not RGB (an extra $30 option that was not selected).

They currently have a similar one (but with the stupid camera at the bottom - a deal killer for me):

So is there any real advantage of it over a 1660Ti ?

Ray tracing and tensor cores. Potentially 5% faster in raw numbers but in some cases 6% slower.

Editing my previous reply.

This particular model appears to have the white back-light only.

Some more info about that - https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVI...946.0.html

"The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 for laptops is a fast mid-range gaming graphics card for laptops. It is based on the desktop RTX 2060 chip but at reduced GPU clock rates (-30%) and reduces power consumption (80 - 90 Watt TGP versus 160 Watt for the desktop version)."

"The power consumption is rated at 80 - 90 Watt TGP by Nvidia and therefore similar to the Max-Q variants of the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080. "

They also have this: https://www.microcenter.com/produ...er---black which has the camera on top but it's not as good as the one posted in this thread. 1660ti versus 2060. Though from what people are saying about this 2060... who knows...
