Dont do it.
Gigabyte's support is horrible and RMA is illusory. I had the 32 for all of 35 days, then the backlight started failing.

Gigabyte doesn't do return shipping on RMAs. The return shipping quoted to me was $300... Basically if your monitor is broken, their opinion is F.U.

Buy at your own risk. Wish I had known.

Specs-wise this is a good monitor at a great price.

The only things I don't like is the VA panel and the power consumption of 70W (max), which is higher than most monitors at that size.

Otherwise, not many drawbacks to buying this.

I bought 1440p IPS 144Hz 1ms a few weeks ago for $300.

Even if a monitor is g-sync compatible it can flicker with g-sync. The Samsung G7, many of them have a "reported" flicker with g-sync on.
So then you shouldn't expect better from this monitor.

Between this one, the Acer ED273UR $299 at Costco (http://costco.com/acer-27%22-clas...1606.html) or this AOC CQ27G2 $259 on Amazon(https://www.amazon.com/Frameless-...B0862YHJ56) which one would you guys go with?? They all seem to have fairly good reviews. All of them are 27", QHD curved and atleast 144Hz. I'm some what leaning toward the Acer at Costo but mostly because of the easy return policy. The AOC on Amazon has a 3 year warranty but the reviews say their AOC customer service is horrible. Not sure how GIGABYTE customer service is. Anybody here actually had either of the monitors and have some feedback?

RTings rates the AOC monitor as its pick for Best cheap gaming monitor if that helps. I was on the fence about this Gigabyte monitor but felt more comfortable purchasing the AOC from Amazon in case I felt like returning it.

That's good to know but I noticed that the AOC in the review is the G1. I wonder if the the G2 is any better.... or possibly worse.

This seems like a good deal, great specs and it even has speakers if anyone cares. No fancy rgb lights, it's HDR capability's are lacking and it's an 8bit VA panel but that's all fine at this price range. I bet this monitor looks and plays fantastic without braking the bank.

Dammit. I bought it for full price a couple of weeks ago. That said, it a great monitor. I play Warzone mostly, and it does the job great.
