Target.com has by far the lowest Pre-Order price for the standard BTTF 4K UHD trilogy at $42.99, everyone else wants at least $55.00 for the pre-order.

Judging from Universals latest 4K track record, you will see a difference and a noticeable uptick in quality.

Check out this screenshot comparison of the old 1080 print of part 2 compared to the newer one Netflix has been using since they made the "oh la la" mistake:

So on those SS comparisons all I see is brightness and some kind of video noise smoothing. Otherwise very similar.

It's burned into my brain already at 480i or worse due to infinite repeated viewings

I'm gonna hold out for the 8K version.
I think you're joking, but you know it will happen. Any time the studios can re-release the same stuff as "new and improved" they will. And 8K will maybe be a real living room thing in 5-10 years. But by the time you can buy an 8K TV at Wally World, the high end will have moved to 16K or 32K or even Hologram-3DVR versions (I made one of those up)

Ive never seen a 4k movie sell out so fast in regards to amazon and best buy sets hopefully they get more in stock before the release date
I should've gotten it yesterday. That's what I get for waiting.

Lol I have never had a situation where I have repurchased something so many times with each re-release.
Already have the individual VHS, 25th anniversary BD (SD for $10?) and 30th anniversary BD (steelbook)...and even went to the theaters during the 2015 marathon.

Will 4k really make that much of a difference at this point?
The image quality of the Blu-rays really wasn't the best. This 4k release is supposed to be a lot better.

Did the combo deal for both 4k trilogy and non regular blu ray with hoverboard. $66.16 after tax. Will try to sell the regular blu ray trilogy later and keep the hoverboard. Beats the $75 I was paying on Amazon for the 4k trilogy + hoverboard.

As good of a deal this looks to be, I'm going to wait until after reviews come out before buying this trilogy again. Already have the blu-rays with digital copies. Also, note that these don't release until October 20. There will probably be another deal on this for the holidays.

According to Best Buy app, release date is 10/20/2020. I did pre-order this one, but i really want the BB Steelbooks too. You can pre-order those yet.

Ordered two copies of the 4K - splitsies with a friend for $65 total after RedCard. Already have a cool looking hoverboard from Lootcrate so works for me.

Blue ray is fine. I mean, this movie takes place in the 1980s, 1960s, and 1860s.

I hope this release is the best yet. Anyone else remember the BTTF DVD Framing Fiasco?

The hoverboard in the Amazon version is a joke. It's being held up by plastic. Let me know when there's a version that comes with a real hoverboard.
