This is a great entry level 4 channel scope. Had it on my list for a while, been looking at it today and boom, price bottomed out to tie it's lowest price according to CCC, so thought I would share.
  • 100Mhz, 4 channels, 1Gsa/use, 1Mpts fft
  • Standard decoder: iic, spi, uart/Rs232, can, lin
  • Math co-processor speeds front panel operation
  • Waveform capture rate up to 100,000 wfm/s (normal mode), and 400,000 wfm/s (sequence mode)
  • Low background noise and 500 μV / div to 10 V / div voltage scales
  • Serial decoding is free and includes IIC, SPI, UART, CAN, and LIN
  • On-screen Bode plot and web-browser control (standard on 4 channel only)
  • WiFi control (optional on 4 channel only)
  • True measurement and math can use all 14 Mpts of memory
  • Large 7-inch TFT-LCD display with 800 * 480 resolution
Scope is software locked to 100mhz, but can be unlocked to allow 200mhz with some tinkering.

Used in electronics, analog signals specifically. So you can visually see signal over time
Kind of a dumb comment or you are trying to show off.

Every heard of right tool for the right job? An 8GHz scope is not the right tool for 90% of engineering scope needs.

Of course, if you already know all of this.

Yea I was bouncing between that, for the 4 channels, and the SDS1202X-E with 200mhz bandwidth but 2 channels. Both are about the same price. I kept going back to window shop this one as well and suddenly I noticed the price had dropped. Checked CCC and saw it's as low as it goes and, well, I spent more than I planned to on a scope today, but I'm happy.

See any good deals on non-switching power supplies?

I wish. The good ones never seem to drop much. Plenty of off brands but I need to stock up on a more fire extinguishers before I go down that road.

Mostly electronics but yes, used in music too. I think anything that outputs an analog signal and you want to see that waveform.

Set off my alert, but bought the Rigol DS1202Z-E for $299 the other day with their 'working from home' promotion. They also extended warranty to 5 years.

I'm not sure if I will run into an issue with just two channels, but so far I've not thought of one. What else would will I be missing between these two?
