This may be the lowest price yet on a 1TB capacity M.2 SSD (at least recently).
Please note: It's a SATA drive.

Yes. I know it says it right in the post. It's also less than $99. So if sata is going down to the $80 price range, I'm hoping nvme will trend down as well.
Linus did a real world comparison for generic usage and gaming and they couldn't even tell the difference. Sure, if you are copying lots of files and doing editing... yes. But if you are just going to load up your games, music and movies it shouldn't really matter....
We're getting closer to that $99 1tb nvme sweet spot I'm waiting for!

I've seriously considered putting a bunch of cheap sata M.2's on PC cards and making a RAID 5 or 6. Maybe if they hit $50 per 1TB. It will happen eventually.

TeamGroup's close to 25 years old and is a VERY well known brand, they're also a publicly traded company.

I needed an inexpensive high-capacity SATA M.2 drive for apps for my dual boot, to throw on the SATA port of my M.2 PCIE adapter card. Thanks OP!
