https://brickseek.com/deal/onn-43...uhd/285324 Wal Mart Stores have the ONN 43 inch 4K tv for 69 bucks. Not a brand many would consider top of the line but at this price great for a secondary room or garage TV for those game nights with the family and friends.

If Brick s is almost correct, then in my 40miles radius, out of 15 stores only 4 of them has this item listed at $69 - the others list them at $139 and that means they had zero stock when clearance was issued.
Out of the 4 stores @ 69, two of them are out of stock and 2 are listed as "limited stock" - my assumption is WM employees are already fighting on those so I will not go there, thanks for the deal though!
Wal-Mart employees are probably on BRICK SEEK and slickdeals. So they can snag up everything

I'm not going to be rude here but not calling is smart. I was using Anandtech long before Fatwallet and Slickdeals. So maybe since 2001 I've been doing deals with the help of an online community like this on.

People call it a cardinal rule for a reason. Every time I've called it's not been available. The one time it was I got there and the employee said they must have been mistaken.

If I worked there and made manager pay I would buy it and flip it or gift it. It's not about making OP feel bad it's informing them that if you call you will most likely not get the deal. I'm glad somebody told me way back when.

100% agreed, but this goes against much of what this SDers enjoy
It's not a deal if it breaks quickly

Lol.... I can tell this dude is a "peaceful" protestor
What does your comment even mean or reference based off of a statement that rings true? It's no secret that box box stores like Walmart Target and Best Buy pay their employees shit. I wouldnt be surprised or mad if an employee snagged a deal based off my stupidity to alert them with a call.

no need to scavenge. walmart employees will be hoarding all of these
Why would anyone hoard a garbo TV? Especially anything under 50" - I've seen so many dirt cheap TV's on FBM and CL now ,this almost feels expensive. There wouldn't be any profit to be made, at least not in my neck of the woods.

Same for me. I have one located about 3 minutes from my house so I'll go check but I doubt they have it.

I have had such terrible luck with YMMV Walmart deals. There's no way my spouse will let me hunt this down.

For most of them, it's a minimum wage job with few benefits.

If the employees want the TV, I hope they get it!
It's true. My sister worked at WM and they are terrible to their employees. Probably just a tiny step above working at an Amazon warehouse where every moment of your shift is statistically analyzed.

Happy Hunting hope you find one in your area. As always it's a good idea to call before hand to see if the TV is available.
This.

This right here in a perfect little summarized nutshell, is EXACTLY what slickdeals has become. Compared to what it used to be, it's now a corporate advertising forum, with "Slickdeals Pros" who are completely oblivious to the values (if you'll humor me) of what slickdeals was founded on.

I'm not going to sit here and explain exactly what cardinal rule this guy/gal broke. If you don't know, then you're likely new to this site, and congrats, you are simply a revenue stream line item for Q4 projections in an excel spreadsheet somewhere on a Goldman Sachs' analyst's computer.

I just wish y'all would have seen what slickdeals used to be back in the heyday. Brings a tear to my eye.
