I bought this chair last time it was on sale, worth every penny. Make sure you look up how to make it lean back, apparently a lot of people didn't realize it does lean back.

This exactly. I had this exact chair. I say "had" because the fake leather peeled after a few weeks and I got rid of it. Just a friendly warning ...

Have you had any issues with peeling too? Seems like a good "bundle" deal..but faux leather has never been good for me either.

After a few weeks? What were you doing with it? 👀

I just replaced this chair. It was comfortable, but the faux leather peeled very badly. I owned it for a few years, but no one used it until the pandemic started (mandatory telework) this past March. I would not recommend.

I realize you are joking but I am serious. I was just sitting on it. It really started peeling badly after a few weeks (maybe two months) to the point where it looked awful and I did not want it anymore. I think I returned it but I can't even remember now.

Faux leather has to be conditioned to prevent peeling/cracking just like real leather lol coconut oil works best for this.

A majority of these affordable office chairs feel good for the first month of use; however, they quickly lose their comfort, and the bonded leather deteriorates rather quickly.

I've had my staples office chair replaced 3x in the 9 years I've owned it; fortunately, the warranty is very forgiving and easy to process. Buy these if you cant really afford anything else and dont mind calling every 2 years for new parts. Otherwise your money is better spent on a Steelcase or Herman Miller

What brand/type do you recommend that will be comfortable and durable? I'm willing to pay more for a quality chair that will last decades since I will get a lot of use out of it. What's a "slick" deal for a chair with that quality?
