More comparable to the Atom SL because they both feature 40 g/m^2 of synthetic insulation. The Kor Strata is more comparable to the Atom LT with 50-60 g/m^2 of synthetic.

Also Arc'teryx didn't invent the synthetic insulated jacket. Many of the synthetic jackets on the market look very similar to each other (Rab Xenon, The North Face Ventrix, Outdoor Research Ascendant, etc.

I own an Atom LT and I enjoy it, but it's really expensive for what it is. Synthetic insulation breaks down pretty quickly over time. I don't think I would ever spend $150+ for the Atom LT again when you can just get one of these from Mountain Hardwear for under $100. This Kor Cirrus uses arguably better insulation (Primaloft Gold Active) and shell material (Pertex Quantum Air) than the Arc'teryx and it comes in at less than half the price.

You're paying extra for Arc'teryx's name recognition as a luxury outdoor brand and for the warranty (which isn't even that great anymore).

Thank you! I ordered some of the listed items as well as a couple others that were on sale. FYI for others, I tried the coupon code on about a dozen other items and it didn't work.

I got the preshell hoody it's my go to summer jacket. prevents me from getting warm. I also don't sweat like crazy in it. Debating on getting the thicker one now.

Is the Kor Cirrus water resistant? I didn't see anything about that on the link.

Nice! Got the Men's Type 2 Fun Full Zip for $43.49 before tax with free shipping, regular $125. Been looking for a good mid layer and this seems like a good one.

Can you still return these in-store at a Columbia store? I recall being able to a few years back.

Picked up the superstretch down for under my snowboarding shell. Looks like an amazing deal at $85 compared to $250

Will go under the firefall2 when I got it on a deal here earlier in the spring.

Bought and rep'd! Mtn Hdwr kicks ass!

I've got pieces in great shape that are 12+ years in service that still look & function perfectly-- almost like new!

Monkey Man fleece is one of my favorites, and finally needing to be replaced, but sadly they didn't have it available. 😔

Made some "lemonade" (so to speak) & ordered up a few other bits of outer/base gear to add into the collection while I keep looking for my next monkey man! Thanks for posting, you rock!
❤️MTN Hardware💯💥👍🤙😁

I have a Marmot ROM jacket that needs replacing. Does anyone know what the closest Mtn Hardwear jacket to that would be? Kor cirrus hybrid hoodie seems close, maybe a little less water resistant?
