The Dell s3220dgf is on sale for $386.99, you can get a extra 10% off with email signup to bring the price down to $348 before taxes. Below is a link to email sign up to get 10% off. Also all the June units now have 120hz timing at 1440p that should work with the new xbox series x and ps5 if those consoles support 1440p. Just noticed in order to get the first 10% off you have to click thru the MPP site here. https://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/...r92AfD_BwE

I swear Dell has no rhyme or reason to what they do. I messaged them last week about my order and received no reply. Also have a keyboard I ordered mid July that just got delayed yet another week (3rd delay now).

Shame they make good hardware otherwise I'd have no use for them hah

Monitor arrived today, will be returning the S2721DGF. This curve and screen size is just amazing. Only wish it was 4k, but aside from that it feels much sturdier and well-built then the 27 incher.

Nice. I went thru 3 LG monitors before getting the 32" dell. The quality and heft can't be matched. And I'm never thought I would be a curved screen type but boy was I wrong.

Once you go 32", it's hard to go small.

Does not come with speakers, most monitors these days don't and if they do, usually suck anyways. Get a good sound bar or speaker. Also as far as choosing hz, might be that the gpu in your notebook does not have higher than 60hz timing to select.
Thank you so much!!

I ordered a allienware r10 but became a nightmare, sent to my ups po box, FedEx said they delivered, my ups said they never received... Now I contacted Dell, opened a police report and waiting to test the monitor at 165hz, sure that my notebook doesn't support more than 60.

Thank you for the explanation

Received the monitor, yesterday. All good, the display cable that shipped with the monitor is working at full 1440p/165hz and 164hz with freesync enabled.

Hope this helps.

Is it better to chat with these guys or call them via the phone? Because I called them twice and they kept me on hold for more than 45 minutes each time and nobody ever talked to me on both occasions so I had to hang up both times.

They've always answered me pretty quick when I do the online chat.

I just received mine on Monday. Has anyone had an issue with G-Sync compatibility? I have a 1080ti and the monitor keeps clicking off to a black screen when using a VRR. If I turn off G-Sync it runs fine but obviously then I run into all of the issues that G-Sync solves.
I've gone through the Nvidia settings and used them at default, recommended, settings I found on the internet, etc... I have tried it at 165, 120, and a custom 144 refresh. I purchased a VESA certified DP 1.4 cable and it behaves exactly the same way with that cable or the included cable.

If anyone ran into this and solved it, please let me know. I would hate to have to send the monitor back after the pain in the ass it was to finally get it here. Thanks.

Mine also flickered with some games but I solved it by using cru utility and changed hz frequency to 80-144 with hdmi on or 80-165 with displayport. Link below and it seems complicated but it's really not. https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors...lickering/

It did look complicated as it's the only fix I didn't try. Since it worked for you, I'll give it a shot. Thank you.

Np and did it work? You don't have to read the entire thread only this part. Only thing you need to do is change the hz frequency to 80-144 hdmi or 80-165 displayport and it should work.

Launch CRU utility and you should see a list of monitor profiles. For whatever reason I have three entries for my DELL S3220DGF. The first one will likely say "(active)". (I just apply this setting to all three, to cover the case where they might be used)

For each of the entries for this monitor, do the following...

Look for "Extension blocks" listed at the bottom

If nothing is listed, you can "Add..." an entry

If you already have an extension block listed, just edit the existing one (press "Edit...")

Once the editor opens, in the section labeled "Data Blocks" you will want to add a value for "FreeSync Range" by clicking "Add..."

The value you enter here for "Range limits" control the "range of refresh rates supported by the monitor for use with FreeSync enabled". I'm currently using 80-164. Remember, the video card and/or driver will double the number of frames being sent out below the lower limit to keep the actual frame rate within the defined range limit.

"Okay" you way out of the windows and exit the utility
