50% Cotton, 50% Polyester

Purchased a couple of these from Michaels last year for 2$ each on different color and without pockets. Because of the 50% Polyester, they are not really comfortable, and developed heavy fabric pilling after couple months of use. IMO these are not worth the price.

Similar to most products made by Gildan. The shirt fabric is very rough and unpleasant on the skin. The shirt size is on the larger size and the fitting box like. In terms of shrinking, it will shrink even if it says it won't. These like most Gildan shirts I own were turned into cleaning cloths.

While I generally agree on the comfort level of Gildan, I will say that they have a (recently released?) soft spun shirt that feels on par with Bella Canvas shirts. They feel really nice. I can't speak to their shrinkage though. I make shirts from time to time and found the regular Gildan I got a Michaels/Joann shrunk significantly despite being "preshrunk". At this price, I was going to give these a try for some sublimation (Infusible Ink) stuff but the grey is not available and maroon may be too dark.

Gildan gets crapped on a lot, but I love them. I buy exclusively black color, and wear them a ridiculous amount. Never have pilling, and they last a long time before starting to fade. Some people complain of the fit, so maybe I have a weird body shape. I wash these (and all my colors) on cold water with low or medium spin, dry on lowest heat.

I bought these in late May from Amazon for the same price. I'm still waiting for them to be shipped, although they may have been an XL. Anyone else have this problem?

I bought 2 of these sets a while back. And just received my 3rd set yesterday. I wear black shirts 99% of the time. So these have been getting alot of use since I got them. Have not noticed shrinking.

Tell you one thing, these are 1000% better than the Hanes black shirts I bought a few months ago. The stitching was coming loose on a few before the first wash and they shrunk big time! Now those were pure garbage.

Went ahead and bought another set of these Gildan shirts. They are now my go to shirts.

The $2 gildan shirts i got from Michaels last year were 90% cotton.

I am aware of that. There were different one's with different cotton blend. I had a bunch of those. The 90% cotton ones are really comfy, but the 50% cotton ones were uncomfortable and deteriorated quickly.

Thanks. Sounds like this is not a deal at all.
