Picked this up at a similar discount a few weeks ago; something to stave off the boredom of shelter in place. Played a few rounds with my partner who is huge Harry Potter fan, but a novice at board games. For reference, she loves Lost Cities, Ticket to Ride and Villainous.

Some quick thoughts:

1) The figures are neat if you like the Funko Pop style. Price is worthwhile if you have a Potter fan who wants the figurines
2) Game is kind of dull with 2 players. It's built for back and forth between 2 sides, but many of the varieties end up putting you into a stalemate. Would recommend you also buy the expansion pack with Malfoy and Ron
3) The game comes with a two-sided board, but I didn't find either of them compelling. Worth 1 play through, but didn't find much joy in replays

This game is hard to play with 2 people. Try to have at least 3; it helps keep it more dynamic and not such a boring back and forth.

Looks pretty awesome, however it looks like we all may need the expansion pack. Apparently we need 2 funko figures per person. So even if you bought 2 more funko figures it will only be a 3 person game..
This is.what is understood from.the specs and reviews

It's a two-sided game, so you can theoretically play with as few as 2 and as many as 6 players. 3 players would mean one on one side, two on the other. The game comes with two Funko Pop figures per side, and also each side has one extra character that's basically just a cardboard token. But that way it does come with three characters per side, so you don't have to buy the expansions unless you want to. I think it's a fun game, pretty easy to learn, but I'm also pretty nerdy. Unfortunately, the other people in my house aren't quite on this level of nerd, so I've only been able to play twice. Mixing Harry Potter and Golden Girls sets was fun.

It's fun but takes a few attempts to truly learn. My 7 year old has even grasped it.

Some of the different Funkoverse expansions/base games have been on clearance at Walmart and Target recently.

No. Smaller than traditional Funko.

Funko and Harry Potter. Two cancerous fanbases collide.

I have to wonder why this is clearanced so often; maybe people just assumed it was hot garbage? Game itself is decently good but it's primarily a take-that game with expansions just adding imbalance unfortunately. I would say Disney Villainous games are superior if you're looking for something fairly light but engaging.
