Just found this monitor in store for $300 and couldn't find it on Costco's website at all.
Everywhere else this monitor is $400 (Walmart, Beach Camera, B&H, Samsung.com etc).
Costco lists it at 75Hz, all others say it's a 60Hz monitor. Will update when I open it.

Mod Edit: Back in Stock online as of 10.7

How do you look up stock? Every time I search costco for something posted here, it comes up empty. Do I need a membership just to search it and check stock?
Honestly, they were pretty front and center, they may be clearing stock. They seemed to have plenty, though...

Just talked to a manager in Costco in California.
She said it's a new item and she sees that all local locations have this item ordered. It will arrive soon (didn't have an ETA but said soon). And she confirmed price will be $299.99

Going to have to check this weekend again. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks so much for this. Asked a Costco employee to look up stock in the northeast and he said he didn't have any info cause it was a new item and he didn't think anyone had stock nearby. But with your picture, I was able to do a 110% pricematch in-person at Staples which brought the price down from $430 to $286 before tax. The policies of whether staples can price match warehouse stores with a membership is gray, but it's worth a try if you have a nice rep in the store. It's worth noting that you can only price match in-person at staples but they can order an online item to your house in the store. Good luck guys!

This is what staples states in their price match FAQ. With this info, Costco seems like a retailer they will price match. They also offer an extra 10% off of the price discrepancy which means you'll get an extra $13ish off Costco's price.

Which competitors will Staples price match?

Staples® retail stores will price match items that are sold and shipped by Amazon.com (its Marketplace sellers are excluded), and sold by any retailer who sells products in both retail stores and online under the same brand.

I have a Costco up the road, I want one so bad lol.
But I have a LG 34UC79G-B already as my center monitor, and its 144Hz and probably overall better.

The hold up for me is Resolution.
I do more content creation than gaming, and I just ordered two side monitors with 1440P so I would love the center monitor to match.

If this can overclock to 95hz like said it might actually make a decent gaming monitor.

I guess the benefit is my FPS will be higher driving the lower resolution, and I have been able to manage just fine so far with 1080P vertical for content work but would be nice to fit a few more lines in my video editor sometimes.

I am in the market for a new monitor, mainly for work. I currently have a 27" @2560x1440 and love the overall appearance, including text. Would this monitor be comparable at its native resolution? Thanks in advance.

That's a 32 inch monitor for $130 extra ($299 Vs $430) and a different aspect ratio (16:9 as opossed to Ultrawide on Samsung at 21:9) more albeit with a much higher refresh rate of 165 Hz. If you can't tell the difference between 75Hz and 165 (I cannot, but a lot of people can), go for the cheaper Samsung with the 21:9 aspect ratio.

if you're doing photo work i don't think this or the Dell (especially the Dell) is recommended. The faster 100mhz+ Dell gaming monitors are not known for color accuracy. If you want that you want something like the Ultrasharps. But those have slow refresh rates. I don't think there is a solid color accurate monitor that can do 100mhz+. At least I don't know of one with good reviews. Right now my conclusion is that you should have 2 separate monitors, one for gaming and one for color accuracy. This again is if you edit colors for money.

How did you do this without it being listed on costco's website?

I haven't been able to find anything that I could point to online that would convince staples that this is a legitimate product offering at this price ($299)..

I was able to provide them the image on the listing and that was enough for my representative. It's YMMV, but I'd mention that it's a warehouse only item
