That says it has a option for 400 Nits display and a 250 nits display and doe snot say that all models have 400 nits display. This particular model sold by Newegg, having 250 nits display.
Corrected, as noted.

At least 300 nits and 100%sRGB color gamut and a 15.6 inch option will make it an awesome laptop.
I have been looking for months for this combo.

At first, I was like "Where is the Num Pad?"...and then I was like "Whoa! A Num Pad!!!" :-)

From what I've read from customer reviews of similar numpad/touchpad combos, the users thought that it was a great idea ... but didn't actually use it much. For whatever reason, they found it simpler to use the mechanical number keys at the top row of the keyboard than to use the digital numpad on the touchpad.

Personally, I'd be leery about using this touchpad. If you look at it, a wide portion of it is offset from the spacebar (hand position while touch-typing tends to center on the spacebar). The location is such that a portion of the palm will be resting on the touchpad. And that may cause random, unintentional inputs.

i have not complaints about the screen its overkill for indoors, and its only bad in direct sunlight. if you're angled the correct direction out doors, it's still fine even in the afternoon

usb-c to hdmi works well usually.
For me it's the screen, but I'm assuming you want to use with multiple externals?
Oh my bad, I was just trying to be sarcastic when replying to the _____ who's comment got down voted because it was so ______.

Yeh don't take my reply seriously, the device description says HDMI.

I love Asus designs but I've had reliability issues with 3/3 of the laptops I've owned from them (small sample but it's big enough for me to hesitate). I would look into buying an extended warranty on any asus laptop if you want it for more than a year.

I would buy it instantly if it came with a HDMI and a 2080 TI. Can only wish.
Did this seem like a reasonable analogy to you? 400 nit displays in this price range aren't a shocking find. Nobody is actively searching for a laptop with a 2080 TI for $900 because that's ridiculous.

Also, it DOES come with HDMI...so I'm actually not sure you looked at the post.

Seriously.
WTF is this combo of great internals and trash externals?
I can only imagine one scenario where this combination is ok...

You use your laptop docked on your desk and with external monitors 95% of the time

Need flexibility to carry rarely

I know it comes with HDMI, the HDMI thing is a common joke on slickdeals. I was simply being sarcastic to the person I was replying to because I felt their comment of 250 nits was worthless. Sorry I turned this into such a big deal.
