I wish this was WiFi instead of BT. Anyone have any recommendations? I just moved into a house and the previous owner left outside speakers installed.

Yeah bt 5.0 is supposed to be a bit better though if it really has it...

It has a 3.5mm stereo input jack, so you could hardwire a Chromecast audio, or an Echo Input to it for WiFi music.

The rear connections are odd. The only input besides Bluetooth is the 3.5mm. The 2 RCA analogs and the coax/optical are all outputs...so you could use it as a Bluetooth receiver I guess. Good price for the specs.

This brand makes quality stuff. I have a Bluetooth transmitter/Dac works quite well. YouTube reviews indicate the product sounds clean with very little noice. I ordered one, if it's a good I don't mind dumping my 20 year old receiver that's taking up space and using way too much electricity.

After using for one hour I can say the sound is silky smooth and powerful. My Sony tower three way speakers sounded fantastic. Unfortunately I can't use aptx hd as my iPhone does not support it. But using the sbc codec the Tidal songs sounded fantastic. Using the wired connection the music sounded awesome as well. Okay I don't know the fancy adjectives to use to describe sound but let me tell you it sounds good. Try it out , I am sure you will be happy

I'm impressed by this little thing. Yes, it's BT 5.0 with solid connectivity (even through floors and walls). My LG V60 recognizes APTX HD and LDAC compatibility. I planned to use it strictly as a BT receiver, but tossed a pair of Baby Advent II bookshelves on the amp. I didn't expect clarity and depth of sound like this - from a micro-device. Thanks op.

Hey everyone. How do I get sound from my TV to this thing? 3.5mm to 3.5mm? then the outs to the speakers?

Looks like it has toslink. Also bluetooth might be an option if your tv supports it.

My TV doesn't have BT but the toslink port says "opt out" doesn't that meant that sounds travel out of that port? or does it travel both ways? thanks!

optical out means that you can use it to send audio to another device. You need to check that the amp toslink is opt in.
