First, $300 is the sale price AFAIK. Then again I'm basing that on Costco. It may seem the sale is very frequent but really there's few if any competitors as this price point, so that may assists that appearance

Secondly, yes.

Third, no one asked, but there's a new model (32UL500-W) which I think is the same exact thing. Check out the details on their site, same brightness, same contrast, same color gamut, etc. Perhaps there's a blatant detail I'm missing someone could fill me in on

Had one, loved it, some people don't. While there are certainly professionals and enthusiasts who would care, for the average joe, I think it's great. Anyone telling anyone it's such a dumpster fire of a monitor that it's unusable is a snob.
FYI. VA panel
There seems to be a misconception out there that no game can be played at 4K higher than 60fps without a 2080ti. I can easily go over 60fps with my 4 year old GTX 1080 in a lot of games I play.

It doesn't play 60fps in the latest 3D shooter with everything max out, but the way some of you are saying it, it's like it's practically impossible to get over 60fps.

Is this a different monitor than the one that's been this price for months?

I have two of these already and at the same price as this post. It's a solid monitor like Nutty mentioned above. I game on it and it's good enough for me. Would buy more of these if I needed it. Thanks OP.

Just got two of these last week. Two can be a bit much on one desk, but the monitors are sheer beauty. No problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.

One has HDR and one doesn't, in assuming.

I used to have a 32" TV 10 years ago and I thought it was pretty good size TV. Yes, two of these would be a challenge to fit on a single desk.

I've been able to split the screen into quarters and increase my productivity. Doing it for both is just a lot going on. I'd only recommend two for day traders.

I think you meant 60hz. Unless your running a 2080ti or a Titan your graphics card isn't pushing more than 60fps anyways.

For the $25-$30 price difference I'd wait on the HDR model (32UL500-W)
