What's the difference between this and the general Clorox bleach (which is much cheaper) in terms of killing bacteria and virus?

This appears to just be a larger size. Some of the bleach products are highly concentrated and must be diluted. This is not one of them

One of the issues I've run into with using bleach solution is that if you leave in the spray bottle, it wil corrode it. The spray mechanism stops working and when you try to spray it bleach leaks all over your hands and floor. I find myself buying these types of products (but the spray bottles) because it doesn't happen with commercially produced bleach solution in spray bottles.

This is pre-diluted and ready to use. Lots of "laundry bleaches" have other additional whiting agents in them now that you may not want sprayed on surfaces.

There's a few older versions of MSDS documents that seem to indicate a very small amount of surfactants (i.e. detergents or wetting agents) in the Cleanup formulation, making it a cleaner - bleach by itself doesn't clean (try running soiled laundry in the washing machine with just bleach!) but it does disinfect and de-stain.

Haha, Another joke about ingesting household detergents or cleaners!
Another one: This one is better served in a small expresso cup with a side of detergent pods for an after dinner dessert.

No, but you might want to try it as an enema.

As stated above by another SDer, this formula also contains detergents or wetting agents making it a cleaner. The 1.84% is bleach, which is a disinfectant, not a cleaner.

If you want concentrated bleach, buy a gallon at Walmart for $3.

Hmm, some of the recent reviews claim that Amazon is shipping fake product. I'm debating now if I should cancel my order.
