As has been said in other sleeping bag threads, the temperature rating is "survival rating." You will not be comfortable sleeping in this in 30F.

And let me remind you, if you can't sleep on a camping/hiking trip... it makes for very VERY long miserable days. My 2 cents is to upsize, even if it's double this price. You'll thank me in the morning.

A sleeping pad is my next 2 cents. Totally worth it.hug
More likely wanted to say wary.
Based on those definitions it looks like wary is the better choice since he was saying to be cautious that the listed temperature is deceptive and could be dangerous as it is closer for 60F

Good finding! I am hoping that a 15F sleeping bag would be on clearance sale soon. But who knows.

I'd be very, very, weary of something that says 40F at this price. Probably only comfortable at 60+.

Can confirm. I have a -15 and haven't been cold in Colorado with it. Gonna try NW Colorado this year.

The 40F sleeping bags from last week's deals were 3.5 lbs whereas these 30F ones are 5.2 lbs. These are definitely thicker and warmer too. I live in the Pacific NW and temperature ranges from 50F to 80F when I go camping. I woke up sweating in the 40F sleeping bags. I was wearing sweat pants and long sleeve shirts.

These sleeping bags aren't name brand quality but they honestly aren't bad at all especially considering the price. Ozark is manufactured by Walmart. If you are skeptical, I would recommend you going into the store to see the material for yourself. I was actually quiet surprised and I own multiple name brand ones.
