Stumbled on this deal combing through brickseek looking for arcade1up deals. $150 shipped plus an old video game you could probably get a few bucks for. Perfect for that vertical retrocade you've been wanting....

Thank you for posting, but this is one of the weirdest combos I've seen.... This arcade has been $150 for the past 6-10 months online, and it was $75 in-store...

I thought the same thing. What a random pairing. Thanks for posting though.

Only perfect for a retrocade of you want to spend a fortune replacing everything and still have a tiny cabinet.

I wish this has more games besides Space Invaders. Why can't they put like 4 games in the unit for the same price?

This is one of the several Arcade1ups I have and easily one of the best looking. Lack of games leaves much to be desired

Have to have the riser (extra), unless you are under 48" tall

Add a Raspberry pi and you can have over 1000 games. YouTube has info.

Just finished my retrocade, took about $120 to mod, totally worth it.

I guess a 2 player cabinet would be more ideal for modding? This would be limited to a single player, right?

If you're going the mod route you might as well replace the control panel and add buttons and sticks.

While true, I think the other poster was implying you are going to want a lot more hardware given how limited this units controls are. When you factor in the cost of the Pi, the additional buttons, the USB encoder, etc. you will likely end up spending a good chunk of change (and still have a tiny arcade). With other models like Street Fighter, you can probably get by with only the Pi.
