This is my goto oil but unfortunately, 20% is not valid on 20W-50.Only good on 10W-50 and 5W-40.

Usually, I can get 20% plus 15% S&S for a steal.

I have a KTM. Perfect for me. You must ride a v-twin?

I usually run 10w40 in my Versys 1000. Could I run 10w50?

I would check with your owner's manual and verify it first. Personally, if it's not in their manual I would not run it.

Yes, V-twin. I just did an oil change so have a few months to hope they apply the 20% again to the 20W-50.

Nice! Should come with the September shipment just in time to change the oil before winter.

motorcycle oil is designed for wet clutches. Regular oil has anti shear crud that will cause the clutch to slip. It has a JASO-MA rating if its desgned for a wet clutch. Some people use the rotella T6 which has the proper rating, but is for diesel engines. Heres a link to read about it. https://www.rymax-lubricants.com/...d%20clutch.

My manual calls for 10w40 in mild weather. 10w50 in hot climate. I think 10w50 is just a thicker oil.

Decent price for Moto oil....i usually buy the mobil1 synthetic moto oil (10w-40) which runs about 11.99 per quart. However, my V twin uses 4 quarts, so 6 is over kill, and if you really need 6 quarts, mobile 1 has been running rebates that give $12 back on a 6 pack.

And totally agreed with the earlier poster regarding the need to use a motorcycle specific oil....i initially used a regular vehicle synthetic 10w-40 in my moto, and switched a year later to a motorcycle specific fluid, and huge difference in terms of how the clutch shifted after the motor gets warm. If you have a wet clutch, you definitely should be running a motorcycle oil that specifically provides wet clutch protection.
