Its not really John Varvatos - they dont make these. The label simply licenses them to a eye-wear manufacturer that probably also caries 30 other fashion brands.

That being said, totally average. Remove the logo and they are an $8 pair.

I bought one glasses from this site and returned it. I am no pro at spotting fake glasses, but it honestly felt fake....

I've bought a few pairs of glasses from them and all were authentic. But just because they are authentic doesn't mean they are great quality. I've bought ray bans directly from their website and they were junk. Seems eyedictive sells models and/or colors that have been discontinued.

Bought a pair of Hugo Boss when it was on sale awhile back. Came with a missing screw on the hinges and was loosely fitted so be careful

Agree with most of what you said, however the John V aviators were listed as being made in Japan. Most of that cheap rebranded stuff is coming out of China, not Japan. That said, you can determine if the John V brand is worth even that discounted price point, but they do at least appear to be better quality vendor-made sunglasses.

Hopefully they are coming out of japan not due to dropship or whatever they do now a days. Similar to how they get around trade embargoes. But really appreciate the replies. Thank you. I am starting to realize that good branded polarized glasses do not come cheap.
