I just got the ausus folding knife made by them on a deal not long ago. It's a good solid quality knife.
No, no it's not. StatGear are notorious in the knife communities for poor quality. They started off as a crappy kickstarter and have been peddling low quality heat treated steels since. There are numerous reviewers who put these through the test and all agree they are basically crap even at their low end price tags. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3Ulxssj8n4

They are one of the worst budget knife brands I've tested myself.

I would love to see someone carrying tactical tweezers around. $20 says they are wearing a red baseball cap, sunglasses, cargo shorts, new balance sneakers, knee high socks and drink a ton of bud light.

Tried and truly great budget tweezers: https://www.target.com/p/revlon-e...A-77640587

I've got the ausus as well. It flips open ok, but the pivot screw needs loctite to keep it in place with regular use. I highly doubt the D2 steel is properly heat treated as well. Doesnt hold an edge long.

Are these the tweezers for me if I've got the mother of all splinters?

1. If you get splinters so often that you need a dedicated pair of tweezers to carry around, I think maybe You're Doing It Wrong (unless you are a medical professional or something)?

2. Available in the color "Tactical Rainbow".

Don't know anything about this company.
Hard to believe they would get 50 bucks for a pair of tweezers, but for 15 worth a shot!
Anyone know how solid their products are?
I got a camera strap from them not too long ago, shipping was decently fast, the strap itself had a defect but I emailed them and replacement process was pretty fast and didn't cost me anything, all in all, the company itself seems like their on top of things and have quite a few decent products to choose from although I can't say I'm a fan of everything they sell

Link to the strap I got

I can attest to this. If you want to spend $10-15 on tweezers, Seki is the only brand to consider.

Please avoid this crap. If you really want edc tweezers, the only brand you should buy is Uncle Bill's Sliver Grippers. They're generally included in every high end survival medicine kit. They can be had for less than $5 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003Q1EGUA/

I'm a machinist and get tiny metal splinters constantly. I don't need a tweezers, I need a complete set, with lighting and magnification. My favorite tweezers are the ones with blade tips.

Agreed. This company is banking on the false narrative of a quality product. Don't be their latest rube.

"When is a discount not a discount?" this "deal" for sure.
