Looks like a shill post.

Bakelite is rated just below 300°F/190°C, so their specs are off.

The "granite" pan material is intriguing, but isn't granite pretty prone to chipping? It also has issues with temperature fluctuations.

For $10, I'd get a cheap cast iron pan in the camping section.

Not to be pedantic, but there's not really a current determination for what could cause cancer versus people who are predisposed to develop cancer.

You might use this your entire life with future chemotherapies being performed by DoorDash.

Wrong use of the word 'pedantic'.

This is PFOA and PFOS free, aka the carcinogens in PTFE

Pedantically, I'd say no.

Is this a worry?? Quote from one of the reviews:

"They say no harmful things and that its ILAG but if you google what that is, its another trade name for PTFE!

"We discovered that Eterna, Eclipse, QuanTanium, HALO, Xylan, Skandia, Dura-Slide, Granite Rock, Granitium, ILAG and even some types of Greblon (which was originally only a ceramic coating) are all trade names for PTFE.""

I tried to google this but wasn't able to come up with anything clear. Anyone find a legit source that talks about this? Curious because I'm using the larger Carote non-stick with the lid and absolutely love it. Obviously if it's harmful, I would be more cautious about using it.

lol from Switzerland my ass

FYI fun fact Friday. For products to be labeled "made in Germany" they have to be designed by a German engineer and final quality control needs to be done in Germany. It can be mfg anywhere and still be labeled made in Germany if things meet those 2 requirements
