An alternate to DM for Food Network Magazine is RecycleBank (free).

No cc information is taken, no auto-renew. You complete tasks on their site to earn pts and redeem for subscription. It doesn't take long.

Food Network Magazine (2 Yrs)
https://www.recyclebank.com/recyc...sues-12862

Whether you use DM or RecycleBank, you can extend a current subscription. If you do, be sure to use the EXACT same name/addy information that is on your current mailing label. If you aren't sure...you can log into your subscription account at Food Network Magazine to verify your information.

If, despite using the same information, you start to receive duplicates. You can resolve the issue by contacting customer service at Food Network Magazine (not DM) - see link above.

DM silently switching my Outdoor Photographer printed magazine subscription to digital only since May 2020 without notice, even they keep the information on their website as printed magazine subscription for the reason that "the subscription will switch back to printed form someday in the future".

Better to ask them first before submitting your subscription

Confirmed. I used to love this magazine... in print. I admit I'm old fashion. I've about lost my interest in continuing to read it. It was awesome and I couldn't wait to receive the next issue each month. Then, without any notifications they switched to digital delivery. Sorry, I want to read this without a digital device in front of me at all times. Especially not on a small screen (like my phone when that's all I have on me), or when the battery goes dead, or when it thinks it needs a reboot or lengthy update, when the network is down, I'm off grid, or I'm just trying to get away from all the devices. There were already a bunch of adverts in the print version. I can only imagine how hard they are going to work at selling me stuff on my digital subscription in the coming years. It's not worth the run around to get a refund, even if they offered one. Considering all the magazines that are still in hard copy I'm really surprised. What a let down. I would gladly pay more for that wonderful glossy print version I've been receiving for the last decade (probably longer).
