***their link is down but when they fix it, you may book. this is just a headsup in case you were planning on booking an Alaska Air flight soon, why not get one free?***

their link is fixed!!!

For a limited time, when you book a flight, you can get a second ticket on the same flight for just the taxes and fees. And with middle seats blocked through 10/31, that means you could get the whole row to yourselves. Masks required.

Promotional Code: GETTHEROW
Travel thru October 31, 2020
Fees waived thru September 8, 2020

It's impossible to get your results in 72 hours unless you're in a state that thinks covid is a hoax.

Edit- doesn't matter anymore. You have to quarentine in Hawaii for 14 days regardless of test result even past September.

You need a covid test result, if you're traveling to a destination that requires it?

Where do you see that information? Still says that expires after September 1st on the official site,

Any educated adult can make their own decision whether it's safe for them to travel or not, don't listen to all these other miserable people that are trying to tell others how they should live their lives.

Most, if not all, workers at resorts/vacation spots will welcome you with open arms and will be pleased that things are returning back to normal.

Now is probably the best time to travel, low prices and less crowding.

Probably the least accurate test at this time.
Not relevant to the fact about getting a test before flying.

Good luck getting a test result back within 72hrs. The labs are SWAMPED. It's more like 5-7+ days.
Hi - just had a test 5 days ago and got it within 48 hours. More like 40 hours.

The Hawaii regulation website shows "COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT)" is required. Would any of those nose/throat swab tests be enough?

I'm from Seattle and the googled testing info websites does not explicitly indicate the tests are "NAAT"

Saw this last night and was able to do mock bookings like LAX to NYC RT for 2 would only be $268... but I thought about it since it will not be an essential travel... if I catch the virus somewhere and spread it to my family, then that ticket savings will turn out to be expensive, as I might spend more for medication... plus we have seniors in our household so I don't want to be the source of infection.

Just playing Devil's Advocate, here.... But you guys think "they" are gonna watch you stay in your hotel room or wherever?!? No!!

If you don't test beforehand, they're going to harass you each and every day thru text messages, purely for contact tracing purposes.

FYI, I went to a destination that required 14 day quarantine... We took our test at an urgicare on Sunday evening, because we knew they'd send their tests off Monday morning. We arrived at our destination Tuesday night, then got our results back Wednesday morning. Tried submitting our results to the government, but their website sucked, so we had to continue receiving text messages each morning. I was stressing myself about flying on a Tuesday, which is ultimately the worst day for receiving Covid swab results (however, Tues. is typically the cheapest day to fly!). Glad I was negative... and would recommend that you get tested beforehand... But I'd be surprised if The Man was waiting outside each and every one of your doors for 14 days at a time. Sounds like a pretty good job, tho!!
