So sad, I should have checked here first; I bought multiple cards at Walgreens the other day.

'Unable to process credit card at this time, processor reported (Authorization Failed)"

Tried a few different cards and also tried ordering from phone and desktop cpu. Anyone else getting this error?

It's a restaurant so Discover already gives 5% this month.
Depends on how the charge comes through. Many online gift cards are sold and charged by a 3rd party.

Note that the website selling the cards is panerabread.wgiftcard.com.

And no, there does not appear to be a Paypal option.

So you agreed it's overpriced? Their food aren't that good either.

Has anyone noticed if by using the GC the visits are not getting registered for the rewards? If that has now become the case, then this 20% off on GC is totally useless. Thats not how it was before. The purchases used to get registered for the visits towards the rewards. Disappointed.

We're all talking about how overpriced they are and how their portion sizes are tiny, but I think it's also worth mentioning their menu is really basic for lunch and dinner, and the Paneras around me are usually out of stock for half their menu items. I've never seen such a quality place go downhill so quickly. And covid isn't to blame, this definitely happened pre-crisis.

My charge is recorded on Discover as a restaurant charge.

Anyone see how amex codes this transaction? Wonder if it counts as a restaurant. Still need to use up my Aspire resort credit by the end of the month
Did you ever find out? I have my amex aspire $250 credit that expires in less than 2 weeks.

Today is Sept. 6. I have questions about this:

Receive a 20% discount on all retail plastic gift card purchases and reloads made online only through 9/7/2020. In cafe and bulk/business/corporate purchases excluded. Other restrictions may apply. While supplies last. Not valid with any other coupon or offer. Void if modified, copied, reproduced, transferred, purchased, traded or sold. Applicable taxes paid by bearer. Cash redemption value 1/20 of one cent. Offer may expire without notice due to error, fraud or other unforeseen circumstances. For complete gift card terms, visit: https://www.panerabread.com/en-us...tions.html.

Question 1. If I buy it today or tomorrow, I would get 20% discount and purchased cards will never expire according to Panera bread site. Correct?

Question 2: I am a bit nervous about "Void if modified, copied, reproduced, transferred, purchased, traded or sold". If I always use it myself, will the remaining balance on my card be void or expire somehow?

I plan to buy a $200 card. I know that Panera's prices are expensive, but kids love their food. Hope this discount can help me a bit. Thanks for any info!

If I buy 3 cards with $200 each, they will not expire, right?
