I have DoorDash credits on my account from previous deals. They've cancelled out the free cheesecake and the $15 off delivery from the last two doordash deals but customer services has added them back as credits on my account. Is it safe to assume this deal also won't work? I don't want to "complain" again and they close my account with the money that's in it...

Not sure what you mean by "they've canceled it out". Are you a DashPass subscriber? I used both deals without any trouble at all. Are you saying the restaurants canceled your orders?

I'm saying the credits (that I have from gift card deals) on my account removed the promo codes. The promo codes showed in my card when they were applied but when you click checkout and look at you receipt DoorDash removes the promo codes and charges the full amount to your credits. Seems like this is a common occurrence on reddit and Slickdeals and that in the fine print DoorDash states promos and credits can't be stacked. Customer service credited me the last two times but I don't think they'll do it again.

Look at the next 3 comments after you. Doordash aren't stupid. They would've added that as a requirement if they didn't want people signing up just for the deals. It is almost never the case that the common person is scamming a multi billion dollar corporation. It's more of a scam that we have so many individuals such as yourself defending huge faceless corporations.

I think it's still usefull to post that deal a week earlier because if you're not a DashPass member you will still be able to enjoy the deal by subscribing for a free month trial.
BUT for your account to be eligible, it will take a couple days for DoorDash to update their system for a new member! So you won't be able to use the promo code on the day of your subscription, you better subscribe in advance.
That was my case when I tried to use the deal on week 1. Frustrating to not be able to use the deal immediately. I would have subscribed a week earlier if knew that.

Did anyone ever get the error message "your account is deactivated or disabled" when trying to order with doordash app? What's it about? Everything worked fine until I hit "place order" button
