The price looks good; Amazon has it listed for $38. This is a 40-watt iron plugging into a soldering station base that has a knob to adjust the amount of electricity going to the iron, adjusting the resulting temperature. Also has sponge and soldering iron rest/holder.

How available are the replacement tips? Weller parts ought to be available but I've had issues with their LED lighted model.

If you are light DIY person then this will work good. If you are more professional i would suggest something more than this power. Ground planes, thick leads, or bigger components that dissipate heat easily might not solder too well with this.
Credit: I work in a electrical prototype lab and solder daily. We have this exact model, and it sits on a shelf.

I got hakko FX 888. You are right. This is light to medium duty.

So glad I don't have to solder daily, just an occasional repair. In for one

I got one yesterday, going to post but saw this. If you are planning to use it with electronics then you might need the ST7 tip.
