I had the Samsung version. I really really wanted to love it, but it was too much for me. Unless you sit like 8 feet back it's a little too intense

I had a Dell 49". It was too large. Too much head panning. I recently picked up the Lenovo 44". The size is much better. I would say a 38" would probably be the sweet spot for most people. I'm also talking about productivity here. Not gaming.

1080p at this size is only good for gaming. Bad for everything else.

The typical non-sale price at many stores is around $900. It's $1115 at Newegg through one poorly reviewed (59%) third-party seller. If you view that as something legit and not was it really is (price gouging by a reseller), you're going to be fooled a lot.

I am sure widescreen movies won't look bad on this. Bad seems a bit harsh especially as a blanket statement but this is the internet and anyone can say anything.
