Thanks for your input! Upon looking further, I think i will stick with the b50. It was $270 after tax while w60 will be $440. I listen to pop using my phone at work. Not sure if going to w60 will actually offer benefit in my case, since I dont have dac on me most times
Yeah, not worth it if for daily use. Unless you are an audiohead, don't spend those extra bucks for minor difference.

I agree. The W60 is worth the money. It is a highly musical yet somewhat neutral headphone in my opinion. I prefer it to both my Sony XBA-N1 and N3B earphones (neither of these are sold in North America) that I bought in Japan on my trip two years ago. And I use my Westone W60 with the Sony NW-WM1A high res mp3 player. It is an exceptional musical experience. I love the Sony earphones don't get me wrong, but these Westones for $400 are worth it.

I have the KZ ZS6 and the 1st gen Westone W60. The W60 is far better imho.

However. I also have the CCA C16 and newer CCA CA16. The CA16 is pretty darn close to the 1st gen W60 and a lot cheaper.

I sing and look forward to trying the 60's as IEM. If not best in that role I guess they'll be fantastic buds forever...

Agree, I have my CCA CA16 already 3 months, loving it. @ $59, adding spinfit CP800 and silver cable for $30, it sounded closed to $400 IEM.

Do that instead if you have less than $100. CCA CA16 is better than W40 for sure. for $120 cheaper after the upgrade

oh you will like it, so comfy on your ears, other IEM, pretty big and bulky, and W60 sounds REALLY GOOD, if you never had any IEM except Dr. Dre Beat or 1More Triple Driver

Thanks!! I've used single driver Shures. I'm assuming things will be *very* different.

How do all of you use these with your phones? So many phones dont have headphone jack nowadays. And I dont want to use shitty bluetooth or carry around a separate DAC.

There are adapters for these headphones. I got a lightening port converter that can plug into iPhones. I believe a lot of music player still have headphone jacks. Otherwise Bluetooth is your best bet.

How do these compare to the old ultimate ears triple fi's? I still have a pair of those that are still in great shape.
